Koala, Tower Hill Game Reserve, Victoria

Tower Hill Game Reserve, whose entrance is along Princes Highway about halfway between Port Fairy and Warrnambool (38°19′41.00″S, 142°21′58.27″E) (Google Maps), is a great place to view wildlife in their natural environment.

I found this guy (gal?) on a walk behind the visitor center, somewhere around 38°18′59.70″S, 142°21′32.88″E (Google Maps).  All the nature parks and zoos I've visited have said that Koalas sleep somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-22 hours a day, so I felt lucky to catch this one wide awake (and staring right at me).
