The Top of Australia, Thredbo, Kosciuszko National Park, NSW

This shot is not the greatest, but it's significant in that I took it while standing atop the summit marker of Mt. Kosciuszko, at 2,228m.  Mt. Kosciuszko is the highest peak in the Snowy Mountains (and Australia), the Snowy Mountains are part of the Australian Alps, and the Australian Alps lie in the Great Dividing Range.  And I suddenly feel like I'm in the middle of a big-fish little-fish food chain graphic.  We all remember those, don't we?
