Yering Station, Yarra Glen, Victoria
Yes, I have most decidedly taken a detour from southern Victoria, but I had to get home somehow. What better way than through nearly a dozen Victorian wine regions?
This winery in the Yarra Valley was so picturesque I couldn't resist taking a few shots. Yering Station has won a number of tourism awards, and you can see why.
This shot was taken from Matt's Bar-Cafe, which is above the cellar door. The Wine Bar Restaurant can be seen in the glass-enclosed area of the building across the way (in the back left). The next shot was taken while standing in the breezeway to the right of that restaurant, about 3/4 of the way to the right in the building.
